1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We may also use similar browser technologies, including local storage, to remember settings, operate website features, and understand how the website is used.

2. How HireKey uses these technologies

We use them for two categories:

• Essential website services. These support website security, save your cookie preferences, display HireKey videos, and operate HireKey email and waitlist forms. They remain available regardless of your analytics selection.
• Analytics. These help us measure visits, understand which pages and features are useful, diagnose problems, and improve the website. We do not use analytics cookies to display advertising on HireKey.

3. How consent works

The choices available to you and the timing of analytics depend on your region.

Visitors in the United States and other non-EU/UK regions

Analytics operates normally unless you decline analytics in Cookie Settings. If you decline:

• Google Analytics and any Microsoft Clarity tracking are disabled.
• PostHog changes to cookieless analytics.
• PostHog session replay is disabled.
• Vimeo videos and MailerLite forms remain available.

PostHog's cookieless mode does not use cookies or browser storage to recognize you. PostHog uses a privacy-preserving, server-generated identifier to count anonymous activity.

Visitors in the European Union and United Kingdom

PostHog, Google Analytics, and any Microsoft Clarity tracking do not operate unless you accept analytics. If you accept, analytics and PostHog session replay operate normally. If you decline, those analytics services remain disabled. Vimeo videos and MailerLite forms remain available regardless of your selection.

You can change your selection at any time using Cookie Settings in the website footer.

The exact names and expiration periods of third-party cookies may change when providers update their services. HireKey periodically reviews the services present on the website and updates this policy when appropriate.

5. Session replay

When enabled under the regional rules above, PostHog session replay may capture how a visitor navigates and interacts with HireKey pages. It is used to diagnose usability problems and improve the website. HireKey configures replay separately from ordinary page analytics so that replay can be disabled when required by your selection.

6. IP addresses and approximate location

The visitor's country is evaluated through a HireKey-controlled Cloudflare Worker so that the appropriate consent rules can be applied. The Worker returns only the classification EU/UK or US/other. HireKey does not configure that Worker to store the visitor's IP address or country result.

PostHog may use an IP address to derive approximate geographic information, such as country, state, or city. HireKey does not use raw IP addresses to identify individual website visitors.

7. Managing your preferences

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to accept analytics, decline analytics, or change a previous choice. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, but doing so may remove your saved preference and cause the banner to appear again.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website services or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
